I came to Burgundy because of a name. It was in 1995. I came across the name of a bottle that attracted me enormously: Gevrey-Chambertin. I found this name so beautiful that I bought it to taste it. Afterwards, I wanted to know where it was made. That’s why I decided to come in 1996 for the first time. When I arrived here, I was lucky enough to see that the Coast is really golden. The leaves were all golden and I fell in love with Burgundy. I’ve been to all the great vineyards in France and there’s nothing like Burgundy. It’s an eternal mystery.
